Death Is The Only Certainty. What will you do about it?
Life is uncertain: No matter how much we plan, how much we prepare, at any moment the unexpected can screw all of that up.
There is only one thing that is ever certain:
YOU, AND EVERYONE YOU HAVE EVER CARED ABOUT, WILL DIE.
I don’t say this to be morbid, I say this to wake you up.
We mostly go around pretending that death only happens to other people; that we can exist inside of a bubble of safety but, if you really think about it, that is ridiculous!
I have found it to be a really useful thing to remember my mortality and that of those I love. It helps me keep aligned with my core values of who I really want to be and what I want to do.
If you knew you were going to die, what would you change?
There are many different exercises I could give you, but the one in this article is a good starting point.
If you take the time to do it, post it here or message me directly and I will help you turn your ideas into action.
Imagine if you could take one simple post like this and use it to make your life amazing: wouldn’t THAT be worth an hour of your day?
